Casa Tota
To make housing in town easy we booked out one of our favorite hotels in the area, Casa Tota (booking details below). It's close walking distance to some of the best restaurants and galleries in town and is an easy way to enjoy the wedding without ever needing to rent a car.

Villas La Mar
This property is very unique and no two units are alike. Villas La Mar is a vacation rental property built on a steep hillside with many stairs throughout. Please note this not an appropriate choice for guests with mobility issues or guests wanting a traditional hotel experience. Property is oceanfront located about an 8-10 minute drive from downtown Todos Santos. Transportation to all wedding activities will be available.
If you want to explore Todos Santos we recommend guests have rental cars as this can be a trek to walk from the main part of town. All guests should visit the FAQ tab in website for any question.
Pachamama
Sister hotel to Casa Tota, Pachamama is a boutique hotel located just minutes from our wedding venue and the beaches of Todos Santos. If you are interested in a more peaceful stay this is a perfect location with daily yoga and in-house spa services available this location is a great option especially if you're considering extending your stay!
Staying in and around the area
There are a few areas we recommend staying when coming into town for the wedding weekend. With only a few rooms onsite our bridal party will be housed at the venue, but we wanted to make sure you could easily find options that fit whatever you were looking for when visiting Baja! Depending on what type of trip you're looking for you can choose from pure isolation in a home on the beach, staying in a historic town with restaurants, shopping, art, as well as late-night entertainment, or a purely rugged experience surrounded by dirt roads on a quiet swimmable beach in a surf hotel outside of town. Whatever you choose we will make sure you can get to the wedding easily with shuttles and transportation planned for the evening to get you to and from the event. Please make sure to tell us where you are planning to stay when sending in your RSVP so we can coordinate pick up and drop off times with those staying nearby.
Beaches of Todos Santos
Todos Santos is built just off the beach on a small hill, but follow a relatively well-maintained dirt road down the hill and you will find homes lining the Pacific Ocean perfect for a family or small group of friends. It's easier to get here if you rent a car or enlist of transportation service as taxis are few and far between and the walk would be a bit far for most as the road stretches for miles up the coast. This is a great option for those looking for plenty of privacy and the ability to feel as if you're on a beach all to yourself, just make sure to hit the grocery store on the way out of Cabo since you might not want to leave to go eat in town once you see the views you'll have in this area!
There are a few hotels that can be booked near this area if you're interested as well, take a look at the "Where to Stay and What to do" section for recommendations on where to stay
Cerritos Beach (pictured!)
One of, if not the only, swimmable beaches on the Pacific side of BCS, Cerritos Beach is a destination you won't easily forget. With multiple small surf hotels built along the beach, you can typically find accommodations for under $120 per night and stay steps from the ocean. Although still quite remote requiring you to take a rough but well-traveled road to get into the area there are a few good dining options to keep you from having to go into town every time you need something, just make sure your car has some decent ground clearance before taking the trip in. Take a look at some of our recs on where to stay if you decide to go this route, just remember you're still about a 15-20 minute drive from Todos Santos if you're planning to be going back and forth quite a bit.
Todos Santos
Designated as a "Pueblo Magica" we love Todos Santos for its historic churches and beautiful cobblestone streets. If you don't want to be concerned with getting around over the weekend you can stay in Todos and not even need to rent a car. Most of the town is very walkable (although built on a slight incline) and has a wide range of options for restaurants beyond your typical Mexican fare (including the famous Hotel California). For those that prefer a hotel experience you will have plenty of options to choose from, we have booked out multiple hotels for our guests to enjoy, making it easy for you to arrive and not have to think about anything other than relaxing (and getting more familiar with the different varieties of Mezcal and Tequila!)
Our favorite activities
Eating and Drinking
There are so many places to get a great meal in town but here are a few of our favorites: Barracuda Cantina for fish tacos and margaritas (Cerritos Beach), Jazamango for fresh organic fare cooked over a wood fire (Todos Santos), Tacos Mariscos for super fresh seafood and ceviche (Todos Santos). But don't let that stop you from exploring more! Some of the freshest sushi of your life can be had in town as well as rooftop dining, a burger and beer while watching the games, or some woodfired pizza (seriously there are some great options!) you should be able to eat well while visiting.
For drinks, many of the restaurants named have great options from cocktails to our personal favorite Micheladas available, but there are a few spots we particularly enjoy grabbing a drink. And as much as a tourist hot spot as Hotel California is it's our first and favorite recommendation when looking to grab that first margarita in town. You can also grab a Mezcal tasting at Taste of Mexico (and pick a bottle up for the trip home as well)
Adventures and Going Out
Surf lessons with Mario's Surf School are held right on Cerritos Beach with perfect waves for beginners to learn, but also good enough to hold surf competitions throughout the year.
Fishing from a panga boat right off the coast is a personal favorite of Duncan's, you can book a guide right through the Todos Santos Surf Shop when you get into town.
Exploring the Town
You can shop non-stop while in Todos and the surrounding areas. Dayanna loves the local shops bringing in artisan-made products from all over Mexico
