Maria Shelton
Matron of Honor
Maria is my oldest sister and although 16 months apart, mostly everyone mistakes us as twins!  We are two peas in a pod.  She is an amazing wife, mother of three beautiful babies, and an influential Lifestyle Blogger!  She has really set the tone not just for our wedding day but as the wife that she is. I'll never forget when she once said "please don't bring anyone around our family unless you are confident he is going to be your husband." I FELT that. The only regret I have is her not meeting Kenny sooner. Thank you for always keeping it real with us and for being one of our biggest supporters in everything that we do!
Anne Castro
Maid of Honor
Annie is the most talented in literally everything!  There isn't anything she cannot do and we are not afraid to admit it.  She has always been the icing on the cake in our family.  When our father passed at a young age, we were most concerned that it was going to affect her the most.  Yet, she possesses some of his greatest qualities. She has a smile and personality that will light up any room, a sense of humor that will get you rolling on the floor (just ask her to do an impersonation of my mom), loyal with a BIG heart, and artistic talent that is out of this world! She embodies the best characteristics of a free spirited woman. I am so proud to call Annie my little sister, my spirit animal and my muse!
Brittny Iwunze
Bridesmaid
My soul sister, my best friend and twerk partner for LIFE! Brittny has witnessed me in my worst and best of times!  You ever meet someone who knows more about you than you know about yourself?  That's B in one sentence. She knows what I am thinking or how I am feeling without even saying. Our wave lengths are so connected it's almost scary. Brittny, you might take forever to text back but when it's time to ride, I know you're always down!
Syara Perez
Bridesmaid
Syara and I met at work and anyone who isn't afraid to tell me that they think "I'm stuck up" is a woman after my own heart! It wasn't until a work dinner (BJ's in Doral to be exact) that I knew we would click. Thereafter, her weekends were always spent at my house!  Taking naps, PJ's, and white queso dip were only a few of the things that brought us close. What we built is an example that a time stamp is not necessary to validate your friendship. Even though we only had less than a year to live in the same city, we never miss a beat! We've spent some of our most iconic birthday celebrations together. Thank you for being such an amazing friend, all ways, always!
Asriele Stubbs
Bridesmaid
AS! My foodie, fitness obsessed, thirsty for Christ, amazing mama of three boys! You have encouraged me in more ways than you will ever know. Thank you for being such a great role model to me and Kenny. Before I met you he spoke so highly of the woman you were and it wasn't until I got a chance to know you myself that what he said was absolutely true. Your friendship is truly unmatched.
Chanel Moore
Bridesmaid
Chanel and I have been friends for many life changes! It still amazes me how much our friendship has grown, even though we have spent the last 5 years of our life in separate states. What I appreciate most about our friendship is that it's raw, unfiltered and we never have to wonder where we stand in each others lives.  We don't necessarily agree on everything (well, because Taurus') but at the end of the day we accept our differences and pick up where we last left off. Chanel was one of the first friends to meet Kenny and she was a fan of him from the very start, even when I wasn't. Lol. Everyone needs a hype woman on their big day and I know you will play that role very well!
Sarah Berthold
Bridesmaid

Sarah was the newly hired Marketing Director turned friend when I lived in Pensacola. Some of the best years in my career were spent with her. Outside of work we frequently spent our weekends on Pensacola Beach at Casino Bar & Grill beach side with a cocktail in hand. This was our jam! I’ll never forget when I was being a good wing woman, only to be left disappointed when she turned down a “coffee date” to go home to her dog Stella. This I will never let her live down! Now it's her turn to play wing woman by assisting on our special day.

Rob Cuthbert
Best Man
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

From the first time we met, Rob and I never met eye to eye on a lot of things. Two guys with strong opinions that will create a debate larger than Obama vs McCain. But in the end, we always kept each other on his toes. Rob is my definition of loyal. He would give you the shirt off his back if needed, and possibly the last of his cash if he believed you needed it more than he did. Rob has been a big brother that I could count on to be in my corner without any questions asked ready to face the same risk...unless it comes to eating certain food. Celebrating birthdays will never be a dull moment with Rob around!
James Moore
Best Man
Hometown: Dolton, IL

James and I met sophomore year of high school during basketball season. Initially I didn’t make the team, but he was the one that notified me that coach wanted me to join. As a new student trying to find comfort, he too had recently transferred from a prep school. Although we stood different in height, we both played with toughness on the court and was as goofy as can be all other times. James has always been one of the most generous guys I’ve ever met. One who would make sacrifices to lend a hand whenever I needed him. My most memorable moment was when he and I drove my sister’s car to Mississippi; twelve hours of pure comedy!
Joshua Sanders
Groomsman
Hometown: Dolton, IL
Sophomore year of high school, I was forced to move to the south side of Chicago and wasn’t looking forward to attending a new school. It was my first day at summer camp during football practice that Josh stood up to our coach for me and in result had to run laps. During our breaks we got to know each other and have been friends for 22 years. Our lives, which evolved around sports, kept us close & competitive. Although many of our peers may have seen Josh as a bully, he’s truly a genuine guy. Always first to call to check up on me, and just enjoys seeing others happy. There’s never a dull moment when he’s around, even if it is a possible fight.
Timothy Jones
Groomsman
Hometown: Atlanta, GA
During my transition to Miami after graduating college, Tim was the first person that replied to me via facebook (when it was only college students) to assist me with getting familiar with Miami. Carrying similar professional careers as Architects, socially Tim & I teamed up as club promoters for 6 years - “The Golden Boys” & since then, never made a move without the other. As my Fraternity brother, Tim has been one of the most loyal & humble guys that I’ve met. So humble that when I lost my job in 2011, he offered his second room in his apartment to me until I was able to get back on track. If it wasn’t for Tim, I would have moved back to Chicago.
Marvin Ady
Groomsman
Hometown: Miami, FL
Marvin & I have been identical since day one, meeting him outside the club in 2006. Two talented guys with an ambition to find his place in life while also being the life of the party. Being both promoters & graphic designers with luxurious taste (on a broke budget), we got together plenty of times to brainstorm on how to make something out of nothing. Marvin never lets me fail. He’s been my coach, motivator & #1 supporter during all parts of my life. He helped me become a trainer as my first client & I’m forever grateful. After leaving the parties behind & developing into his career as a fire fighter, he’s still the same guy that will make you smile
Kurt Robinson
Groomsman
Hometown: Raleigh, VA
Moving to Miami in 2006 with no friends or family around was a hard transition. One weekend, while linking with one of the local Fraternity chapters, I met Kurt. We were the only two super late to a BBQ & the only ones sober enough to hang out afterwards. Since that day, we were “Ying & Yang” on the weekends as we enjoyed Miami outside of business hours. Kurt has always been a role model to me on both a professional & social standpoint. A guy that never said no, shared whatever he had, and was always willing to take any risk with you (as long as it didn’t kill us). He is also one of the best persons to go to for advice over a glass of whiskey.
Carnell Thornton
Groomsman
Hometown: Homestead, FL
Carnell & I met on south beach in 2013 during my birthday, only to find out that we lived in the same apartment complex. We clicked instantly & became great friends over time. With similar interest & family upbringing, we became roommates in 2015. (Fun fact: Somehow we always met up dressed alike when going out & would rock, paper, scissor on who had to change). Learning a lot from each other, we held each other accountable in our daily lives supporting each other’s efforts & struggles as we transitioned into older men. Now Carnell lives in Maryland with a new career path, but it hasn’t stopped us from checking in on each other.
William Lathan
Groomsmen
Hometown: Dolton, IL
William (Billy) & I met in high school during our junior year. He was in my position as a new transfer, although he knew a good handful of students from growing up in the area. Billy has always been a hard worker at whatever he takes on and a man of his word. So much that, while living in Minnesota, when I told him that he should move to Miami, he drove non-stop and made it just in time for my bday celebrate at the club! Billy is also the reason that traveling has become a part of my life, which has shaped my way of living. He showed me how to enjoy life beyond work, beyond my limits, beyond the norm. London & Paris will always be our second home.
Maya Shelton
Flower Girl
My Mimi! First she's sweet, then she's sour! This little girl keeps us on our toes. It still amazes me how witty, strong willed and independent this ray of sunshine is. She couldn’t say my name for the longest and the moment she finally did it was like seeing your child walk for the first time! She makes me smile on my worst days and I know she will be the perfect flower girl on our wedding day. Be ready for all the “awww’s” when she walks down the aisle before me!
Marlee Shelton
Flower Girl
With accompany of her big sister Maya, Marlee will be our second flower girl. By our wedding day she’ll be 14 months old, walking and I’m sure if anything like her sister, full of personality. This sweet bundle of joy has a smile from ear to ear. She is attached to her mama but doesn’t mind being held by us from time to time. She said her first word “hi” at two months old and we have a video to prove it. My sweet and smart princess!
Tristan Shelton
Junior Groomsman
Anyone who has been around our family for the past decade knows this boy is my first love! When he was born we lived in Indianapolis in the same house and I was so blessed to be able to watch him grow for the first few years of his life. He brought all of us so much joy! We often called him an angel because he was truly a great baby. He never cried, and when he did we knew something was wrong! He had the best giggles and a smile that could light up any room. Fast forward to now, he’s a scholar athlete who is a great big brother to his two sisters.
