Milos

The Greek Island of Milos was the home of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, and is considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. Get ready for stunning beaches, superb seafood and an island full of fascinating history. We visited Milos right after getting engaged and we knew instantly that this is where we wanted to tie the knot!

Travel

Getting to Milos

Milos does not have an international airport but there are eight flights daily from Athens (approximately 30 minutes via Sky Express or Olympic Air). We advise booking flights to Milos Island as soon as possible as seats are limited.

Ferries leave from Pireaus port in Athens and take approximately 3-4 hours. The ferries arrive in Milos in the port of Adamas where you can easily connect to various villages across the island.

Milos also has easy connections to other islands in the Cyclades such as Santorini and Mykonos.

Where to Stay

Milos has a plethora of places to stay that are suitable to all budgets. Although the majority of places are in Adamas, we encourage guests to stay in the village of Pollonia, which also has more upmarket boutique hotels.
