After a night out with friends, I somehow ended up at Hutton Community Center at a boxing event. I was extremely drunk and thought I had lost my phone. I was crying and randomly asked Danny for a cuddle, to which he happily obliged.
We then spent the evening together and have been inseparable ever since.

After keeping our relationship a secret for a few months, it was finally time for Danny to meet my family.

After meeting our immediate family, it was time to meet Danny's extended family in sunny Spain who welcomed me with open arms.
It soon became our regular holiday destination and feels like our second home. Our dream is to one day move out there.
It was Christmas 2011 and we had planned to have Christmas dinner with my Mum, brother and sister. Danny decided that we would bring the Christmas crackers for the day. Naturally I assumed these would be a standard box from the local supermarket but he surprised me with these beautiful custom made sparkly crackers. Little did I know that he intended to propose and the ring was inside one of the crackers.
We sat around the table for dinner, and as you do we all decided to pull the Christmas crackers. I pulled mine and something fell on the floor. I heard a 'ding' and assumed it was nail clippers. All of a sudden, Danny bent down to pick it up and as I turned around, he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand...That was 12 years ago.
After 14 years of one hell of a roller coaster ride, we are now proud parents to three beautiful children...who would have thought it.
They keep us on our toes and our lives definitely revolve around them but we wouldn't have it any other way!
