Please Log inOur ceremony will be held at the oldest church in Cartagena, Iglesia Santo Domingo. It will be a short walk for anyone staying within the walls of the old town.
Ladies: Evening Gown/Vestido Largo
Gentlemen: Warm-Weather Black Tie (off-white/white dinner jacket)/Smoking Tropical
As we are getting married in a coastal town and our ceremony is during the day, we will embrace the tradition of the warm weather black tie. This is basically the classic tux, but with a white dinner jacket instead of a dark colored one to help with the heat.
After the ceremony, following Cartagena wedding tradition, we will have a celebratory procession leaving the church! We will process together from Iglesia Santo Domingo to the internal courtyard of Casa 1537 for a cocktail hour. This procession will only be a short 3 block walk!
