The DuSable Museum of African American History

Admission is FREE to all on each Sunday of the year from noon to 5pm. Otherwise, the museum is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10am – 5pm for a small admission fee.

The Michael Jordan Statue at the United Center

The Michael Jordan statue is one of Chicago's favorite tourist attractions.

Literally all day long, and both prior to and after United Center events, people from all over the world come to visit and have their picture taken in front of one of Chicago's most famous and recognizable landmarks.

The statue, unveiled before a national television audience by Larry King, Jerry Reinsdorf and Michael Jordan himself in a November 1, 1994 ceremony at which the famous No. 23 was retired, sits on a 5-foot high black granite base inscribed with Jordan's basketball achievements, and the words, "The best there ever was. The best there ever will be." #nuffsaid

Chicago Architecture Tours

Chicago is the birthplace of the Ferris Wheel, home to the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and where the world’s first skyscraper was built. The city is internationally renowned for its historic and modern architecture. The Architecture Tours are the best way to see the beauty that is Chicago! The Chicago Architecture Foundation offers a wide array of walking, bus and boat tours (although it will probably be too cold for the boats). Tours vary from neighborhood tours, to must-see-sights in downtown Chicago.

The Sears Tower - The Ledge

A few years ago some rich people bought what is known to everyone from the Chi as the Sears Tower...they claim we're supposed to call it "Willis Tower." No true Chicagoan will ever call it Willis Tower #SearsTowerForLife. BUT, it's still a very cool destination to visit. The views from the skydeck are incredible, and if you have the guts, step out on the ledge!

At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge’s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from the Skydeck.
