We are so excited you’re coming to our wedding! To show our appreciation and make sure everyone has an enjoyable, fun time with peace of mind we’re:


• Having all weekend events OUTDOORS! Enjoy looking up at the stars in the fresh Malibu air. Experience towering oaks, willows, and twinkling lights in the gorgeous Santa Monica mountains. Sip a cocktail at a classic Hollywood landmark and explore all that Los Angeles has to offer, OUTSIDE!!

•  Implementing a creative social distancing environment to ensure a comfortable and easy way to PAR-TAY!!!

•  For further peace of mind, safety, and an awesome weekend for everyone, we are having everyone test prior to each event! You will have enough tests for each event in your Welcome Bag.


    EASY COVID TEST INSTRUCTIONS:

Test to be completed in vehicle ON THE WAY to each event of the weekend to ensure no contact after test with non-event goers.

Your test kit includes:

•  1 Nasal Swab

•  1 plastic tube with reagent (yellow cap)

•  1 BD Test Device

STEPS:  (Click on graphic above for illustrated steps)

1. SWAB: Take ONE nasal swab and swirl inside BOTH nostrils for 5 seconds each (1 inch deep).

2. SQUEEZE: Remove yellow cap from reagent tube and repeatedly plunge sample swab in liquid for 15 seconds. Remove swab while squeezing swab in tube to extract liquid.

3. Press the attached dropper tip firmly on reagent tube.

4. DROP: Open BD Test Device. Add 3 DROPS to the Test Device sample well (The sample well has a “3” and a drop symbol next to it, see photo)

5. RECORD: Record time (sharpie included) directly on the BD Test Device immediately after 3 drops have been added to the sample well.

6. Return BD Test Device to bag and give to staff at marked table at entrance of event.

IMPORTANT TIPS:

•  You have 45 minutes after adding the 3 drops to the BD Test Device to be read at the venue. (The analyzer will know if it’s been longer and will be invalid). We do have more tests at venues if invalid, just try not to be “that guy.”

•  Please do in car on the way to each event to ensure there is no contact with anyone not going to event.

•  Your test will take 5 seconds to read prior to entry (though the 3 drops must be on the BD Test Device for minimum 15min before reading ).

•  You only need 1 SWAB, 1 REAGENT TUBE and 1 BD Test Device PER PERSON, PER EVENT.

•  If you feel you are missing a test or have any questions about the test anytime during the weekend, please call 404-438-7400 immediately!

Examples of scenarios that will happen this weekend:::

•  Guests who swab, squeeze, drop and record 1-15 minutes before arrival ::: will wait up to 1-15 minutes before reading at venue. This works great, just come a little early if running late on gathering your sample.

•  Guests who swab, squeeze, drop and record 15-45 minutes before arrival ::: you can get read immediately upon arrival. This is perfect and will make Casey and Jared so happy!

•  Guests who swab, squeeze, drop and record 1 hour or more before arrival ::: your test may be invalid, you will have to retake at venue and wait 15min prior to entry. Remember “that guy” we were talking about?

•  If you have a positive test? You will take a 2nd test. If you have a 2nd positive:

You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here!

•  Tests are required. Upon a negative test, masks are optional (except as required by venue).
