These two crazy kids met at South Garland High School. Candice was a senior and James was a sophomore. Candice was sitting in a senior Ag class and James walked in as a student. Mr. Sophomore wasn't supposed to be in the senior class but fate had a different plan.
They quickly became GREAT friends and were almost inseparable most of the time. Both were on the cattle show team and traveled from all over Texas to different livestock shows. One of their sweetest memories, as they were riding in the truck with Mr. Scheu, their Ag teacher, they would sneak holding hands under a jacket. Such a sweet and innocent memory!! Candice and James went their own ways after high school graduation and found each other many years later as two single parents. They dated a few times throughout the years starting in 2017 and in June of 2020 they met for another date....and they BOTH knew this was it!
God has led them, and guided them, into a beautiful, unbreakable bond...
