Jonathan and I met at Azusa Pacific University in southern California. I was a cheerleader and he played on the football team as the Safety. Though through most of our time at APU we often walked right past each other, only giving glances and smiles in the hallways. Little did we know just how close we were to the love of our lives. Jonathan remembers noticing me taking notes at chapel and I only remember hearing his name called over the speaker at home football games. But God surely didn’t let us leave our college years without finding each other. We connected on Facebook and in just a matter of days we went on our last first date together and had our last first kiss. The rest is simply history.
