TRANSPORTATION
Vail is a ~2 hour drive from Denver International Airport, or a ~30 minute drive from Eagle County Regional Airport. There are a number of car rental agencies and shuttle companies that provide transportation to Vail from both airports.

There are rental car services available at DIA and Eagle-Vail airports. We recommend Epic Mountain Express with shuttle services available from Denver and Eagle to Vail. You may not need a rental car once in Vail, as there is a free in town transit system that will take you between the villages. You may find it preferential if you plan to partake in other activities throughout the Vail Valley. There are taxis available in the Vail Valley but Lyft and Uber are not as readily available or reliable as most metropolitan areas so we don't recommend that as a form of transportation. BUSTANG
SHUTTLE FROM UNION STATION
From Union Station in downtown Denver, you can take the CDOT West Line bus (departs twice daily at 7am and 5.40pm) west to the Vail Transportation Center. You can take the A line train from DIA to Union Station. The trip takes just 2.5 hours. From there, you can walk or catch the free Vail bus to a stop near your hotel. If you are staying farther out, you may have to book a car to your hotel or resort from the bus stop. ridebustang.com/west-line-schedule/
