The closest airport to Hacienda Pinilla is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport ( LIR ). It is a 1.5hr drive away from the property.

There are many car rental locations available at the airport. Enterprise, Avis, Alamo, just to name a few.

Note: The car rental location is not attached to the airport. There is a free shuttle service that will take you to the rental area (about 5 minutes down the road).

In Costa Rica, Apple Maps does not work unfortunately. We recommend downloading the Waze app for navigation help for your drive over to Hacienda Pinilla.

If renting a car is not in your cards, you can always reserve a shuttle service for airport pickup/drop off or snag a taxi once you are there.

Hacienda Pinilla is quite a big property! Easiest way to get around is by car, which allows for more flexibility, but a car is not 100% necessary! 

You can also ride around in style on golf carts or bicycles while you are on the property. We recommend reserving a golf cart in advance, to secure your ride. They book up very quickly!

NOTE: Golf carts are only allowed to stay on property and not driven off in town.
