SHUTTLE

Our shuttle will depart the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the Candlewood Inn at 10:30am (We're sorry it's so early!!! Please plan accordingly!!!). If you are staying at the SpringHill Suites, please walk down the hill over to the Crown Plaza next door. The shuttle will bring those who have signed up back to the Crowne Plaza Danbury for the After Party at 5pm. ***If you have not already signed up for the shuttle but intend to take it, please contact Lili ASAP by messaging through our site/app. The bus is almost near capacity and will not be able to accommodate more people than have signed up***



PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FROM MANHATTAN TO CANDLEWOOD INN

From Grand Central:

Take the Harlem Line to the Brewster, NY stop.

From the train station it's a 20 to 30 minute taxi ride to the venue: Brewster Taxi: (845) 279-6552 (Cabs meet most trains); Manny's Taxi: (845) 279-1398 (call 30 to 40 minutes before reaching the station to order a car).

From Grand Central:

Take the New Haven Line to Danbury, CT (you will have to change trains at South Norwalk).

Once at the train station, the venue is a 15-20 minute taxi ride away. Please call ahead for a car: A Cab Company (203) 792-8294 or Jin Transportation (203) 743-3007.

***If you need to take the train home after the After Party, the Crowne Plaza Danbury is closer to the station than Candlewood Inn should only be a quick cab ride.***

** Take Exit 7 off I-84 East or West in the Danbury area (Brookfield, New Milford, Route 202 & 7 North). This becomes Route 7 North connector. Take Exit 11, get into the middle lane going down the ramp and turn Left at the light. Continue straight through the intersection onto Candlewood Lake Road. The Inn is located just 4 miles on the left side.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott neighbors the Crowne Plaza Hotel and, therefore, is in easy walking distance to and from the After Party. Anyone who stays here will still have access to our private shuttle (and they have a pool).

A hot and cold breakfast buffet is included and served from 7am-9:30am.

We have arranged for a special rate of $109 at the Crowne Plaza Danbury for both the night before and the night of the wedding (this is also the location of the After Party). The Crowne Plaza Danbury is about a 10 minute car ride from the Metro-North Brewster, NY stop on the Harlem Line. The hotel provides free shuttle service for guests to and from the train station. Please call the front desk at (203) 794-0600 to book the shuttle in advance. If the shuttle is not booked, it is available on a first come, first served basis by inquiring at the front desk. There is also local taxi service, please see above.
