The airport

Cagliari Airport, also known as Cagliari Elmas Airport, is located 7km Northwest of Cagliari on the Island of Sardinia.
The airport is located close to the city centre thus making a trip to the city easy. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to get from Cagliari Airport to the city center. Transportation options available to passengers include taxi services, buses, train and rental vehicles.
There are direct flights from Cagliari Airport to over 30 cities. Several airlines use Cagliari Airport to access the Island of Sardinia. Some of these airlines include EasyJet, British Airways, Air Berlin and Luxair.

THE SEAPORT

If you want to bring your own car with you, you can arrive in Cagliari by boat.
The port of Cagliari is the main access by sea to the Southern part of the island. Cagliari can be reached from the ports of Civitavecchia and Naples in less than 13 hours and from Palermo in less than 12 hours. The shipping company Tirrenia offers daily and/or weekly ferry rides to South Sardinia.
