Living on opposite coasts of the country, Asha visited Jason in New York the last weekend of March 2018. In the middle of Central Park in front of the Bethesda Fountain, a violinist began playing "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain (one of Asha's favorite songs!). Jason kneeled and popped the question! She (obviously) said "Yes"!

In September 2015, my friend Monica was visiting New York, and I decided to accompany her to her high school reunion. It was at a college hotspot...in Jersey. So I obviously expected nothing but to have fun with my friend.
I met this seemingly brash handsome guy, who I assumed must be an ex-jock reliving his glory days at his reunion. Somewhere in the next hour, I learned, to my surprise, that he enjoyed medical research, philosophical banter, and vegetarianism. By the end of the night, he turned to his friends, and claimed "One day, I'm going to marry this girl." I dismissed it as a declaration under the influence, but those emphatic words are coming to fruition almost exactly three years later!
- Asha

Asha was the most beautiful girl in the room. I came over to talk to her and she was surprisingly friendly for as early as it was. But she turned out to be more than just an effervescent pretty face. I knew that night, I wasn't going to let her get away, even though some say I waited a little too long to pursue her.
