Travel FAQs

1. Payments towards your balance can be made in various increments, as long as the final balance owing of $3600 per person is paid by the due date.

2. Group seating will be assigned to our group on the plane so that we are all seated close to each other.

Resort Tips & FAQs

1. Cancun/Mayan Riviera during our visit, will be 1 hour behind as they do not observe Daylight Savings.

2. Fill out and complete the reservation form, "Wixh List" for all desired restaurants, parks and tours to ensure that the requested dates and times can be accommodated. The Wixh List will be distributed to all guests to request reservations as early as 28 days prior to arrival. We found that early (6-7pm) and late (9:30-11pm) dinner times were not that busy for the restaurants. Note: Should you require any changes to be made to any of your reservations after arriving at the resort, you can make a request with your butler to move/reschedule. Keep in mind that some dates and times may be unavailable, but the resort will try their best to accommodate.

3. The resort and parks have "Xelfie" locations, which are cameras that have been set up to capture unlimited, unique pictures. To take pictures, simply scan your bracelet to activate these photo locations. Afterwards all photos can be viewed on the TV in your room. If interested, various photo packages are available for purchase within the resort shops.

Parks & Tours - Tips & FAQs

Ask us for Park Recommendations if you are unsure, we will help.

1. Your room/hotel bracelet will also serve as your park entrance ticket, which will provide you with access, food and lockers at the parks. (please check applicable website for each park for full inclusions)

2. For the parks, it is recommended to wear a swimsuit, water shoes (highly recommended as some activities will not allow you to complete them while barefoot or with sandals) and comfortable clothing, as many of the attractions will involve water. Additionally, you may want to bring extra change of clothes and a towel, which can be stored in the lockers provided.

3. Only use of sunblock and sunscreen that is deemed "Reef Safe" or containing titanium oxide and zinc oxide are allowed in the parks in order to preserve the coral reefs and wildlife in the surrounding area (sunblock containing Oxybenzone or Octinoxate are prohibited). Staff at the parks will check the sunblock you brought to ensure these requirements are met, if not, you will be given reef safe sunblock for use in the park. Upon exiting your sunblock will be returned to you.

4. All of the parks which are further away from the resort, require a reservation to attend, and for those parks and tours, there is a set time which you will leave and return to the resort.

5. The neighbouring parks (Xcaret, Xplor and Xenses) have separate entrances for hotel guests, so you will not need to wait in line with the other tour operators. You can enter and leave the park as you please, as the shuttle is approx. 10-15 mins roundtrip. It is convenient to return to any of these parks during your stay.

6. All of the parks have information boards throughout which will show how busy a particular attraction is. *Time Saving Tip* For all those that wish to complete the Zip-Lining in Xplor, we would suggest you arrive at the park as soon as it opens (9am) and complete this activity first as the wait times for this attraction increase throughout the course of the day.
