Airport Options

Flying into Northern California is the easy part, getting to where you're going next with typical traffic may be another story. In order of proximity to Healdsburg and approximate drive time, the nearby airport options are:

Sonoma County Airport (STS): ~10 miles, 10 to 20 minutes

San Francisco International Airport (SFO): ~80 miles, 1.5 to 3 hours

Oakland International Airport (OAK): ~80 miles, 1.5 to 3 hours

Sacramento International Airport (SMF): ~120 miles, 2 to 3 hours

San Jose International Airport (SJC): ~120 miles, 2 to 4 hours

Transportation

Traffic

This cannot be stressed enough, traffic in the greater Bay Area is pretty bad. Whether you will be coming from nearby or are a guest from out of town, it is highly recommended to plan accordingly to get to Healdsburg on time for your invited events.

Rental Cars

For those traveling from out of town into an airport other than Sonoma County Airport, it is highly recommended to get a rental car to drive to Healdsburg. While smaller and likely a bit more expensive to fly into, the Sonoma County Airport is only a Lyft or Uber ride away from downtown.

Accommodations

Hotels

With the stomping of grapes and changing of leaves, wine country in the fall is a magical place to be. As a result, hotels can be in high demand. Please be sure to prioritize booking accommodations in advance and note that some hotels may require a two night minimum stay.
