Private Party

This is an invitation only event.

We're looking forward to starting off the festivities with everyone at Seghesio Family Vineyards over some wine that truly embodies Sonoma County!

If you received a rehearsal invitation as well as one for the wedding, please note and follow the separate RSVP process for the rehearsal dinner.

Dress Code

We request dressy casual attire for the rehearsal dinner, something a bit fancier than your day-to-day outfits but not quite semi-formal.

For women, this might mean a dressy skirt and top or cocktail dress. For men, this might mean a dress shirt and slacks with an optional tie and/or sport coat. Refer to this link for some general dress code guidance.

Transportation

For those arriving by car, there is ample parking available at Seghesio as well as space for Lyft and Uber to pick up and drop off.

For those who feel like burning some calories, Seghesio is a relatively short walk (~0.5 mile, 10–15 minutes) from both Hotel Trio and Dry Creek Inn, two of the recommended Healdsburg hotels you might be staying in.

Venue Info

Seghesio has specialized in making tasty Zinfandel and Italian Heritage wines for over 125 years! Founded and operated by the family continuously since 1895, the winery is only 1 of 100 in America to survive Prohibition. They stayed afloat by selling grapes, grape juice, and grape concentrate, the latter of which came with a warning to buyers to not add yeast, lest they end up with wine. Wink wink.

The winery maintains some of the oldest vineyards in California and beyond to this day – Zinfandel blocks from 1895 and the oldest blocks of Sangiovese in North America. A key supplier of grapes and bulk wine to other wineries for decades, Seghesio shifted focus in the 1990s to producing the smaller scale, sustainably farmed, high quality wines we'll be enjoying together.

The Main Event

Upon stepping foot at Ru's Farm, we instantly knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. A stunning all-in-one event space, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception filled with dinner and dancing will all be held on site.

We can't wait to share this incredible venue with you!

Dress Code

We request cocktail attire for the day of the wedding, something a step above semi-formal but not quite traditionally formal.

For women, this might mean a cocktail dress, party dress, or pantsuit. For men, this generally means a suit and tie. Refer to this link for general dress code guidance.

Transportation

For those arriving by car, there is parking available adjacent to Ru's Farm in a lot an attendant will help guide you toward. Cars are permitted to be left in the lot overnight, but must be picked up between 8–10 AM the following day.

If you're catching a ride with Lyft or Uber, there's a designated place at the front of the venue to be dropped off and picked up at.

Although only a mile or so from downtown Healdsburg, it's not advised to walk to Ru's Farm for the ceremony and reception. Don't want to get sweaty in nice clothes or scuff your shoes!

Venue Info

Featuring acres of rolling estate vineyards, exquisite gardens and landscaping, as well as an incredible barn built in 1902 where music and dancing will be held, Ru's Farm truly combines the very best of Sonoma's wine country and farm lands. Towering above it all is a majestic, 100-year-old cork oak tree we plan to hold the ceremony beneath.

Although Ru's has only been putting on events for a few years now, we believe the grounds and staff will expertly come together to make our wedding more than memorable. It will really be the perfect place to celebrate together!

Event Details

For those who can keep going after celebrating and dancing the night away, the plan is to continue the party around the corner from Ru's Farm in downtown Healdsburg.

We will most likely start out at Duke's Spirited Cocktails or The Elephant Room, but will see where the night takes us!

Event Details

Before those close to us leave town or continue the weekend elsewhere in Sonoma County, we would like to get together one more time over some tasty brunch.

Please come join us in the main floor common area of Hotel Trio for bagels, pastries, juice, and more!
