Although we love all of your children, we will require that our wedding events be adults only. We have given this a lot of thought and consideration, but given the potential amount of children that may attend (30+ children compared to 60 adults), it will be too difficult for us to properly accommodate all of the children.
This policy will apply to all guests, including close family. If this means you cannot attend, please do not feel guilty. We understand that this is a far trip and that this may be too long to be away from your children.
A lengthy international journey, the time difference, and the openness and nature of the terrain and villa would make this an unfriendly child experience. We hope this advance notice means you are able to organize a babysitter and share this amazing experience with us.
We kindly request no gifts for our wedding. Your journey to celebrate with us is enough of a gift! Like you, we are also traveling to Italy, and we will not have any room in our luggage to bring back gifts. Your presence, not your presents, is what's important to us.
