Our First Date

It all started on a combine. I'll admit, I didn't really know what a combine was but when Andrew said it was the last day of Harvest I jumped on the opportunity to find out....after I googled "Wanamingo." For a late Fall day it was surprisingly beautiful and sunny. We rode around for hours listening to country music and throwback 90s. Lots of laughing, bad singing, and easy conversation later, Andrew dropped me back at my car and kissed me. As I drove away, leaving the country, I looked in my rearview mirror and saw what may have been the most beautiful sunsets. I took a picture and smiled, knowing something special had just begun. And so the saying goes...”she thinks his tractors...” enough said!

I said YES!

It was our last night in Florida. The sun had set and we stopped at the Fort Myers pier before dinner to walk along the beach. Away from the crowds, he stopped walking and said, "What do you think that green light is" pointing to something flashing across the ocean. I turned to look and when I turned back around he was on one knee, smiling. One question later I jumped in his arms and said “yes” and we were engaged!!!
