Sound Transit Light Rail

If you are not in a rush, another option is the Sound Transit Light Rail. It is a 45-min ride to Downtown Seattle, with trains service arriving every 10-minutes. The light rail station is accessible from the terminal via skybridge on the fourth floor of the parking garage. One-way fares to downtwon are $3.00 for adults. The closest stations to our selected hotels are the Pioneer Square Station for the Alexis, and the Westlake Center Station for the Hyatt House. To reach the Hyatt House an additional ride is required on the Seattle Center Monorail for $2.50. From the Seattle Center, it's only a short walk to to the Hyatt House.

Things to Do

Seattle CityPASS

If you plan on taking the opportunity to visit the many sites and attractions around Seattle, we recommend purchasing a Seattle CityPASS. The pass provides admission to your choice of three of the five major attractions around Seattle. The pass is $89, which is significantly discounted from paying individual admissions at each attraction. Some of these include the Space Needle, Museum of Modern Pop Culture (MoPOP), Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour, and the Seattle Aquarium among others. (You will have an opportunity to take a private tour of the Chihuly Gardens and Glass during our cocktail hour, so you could dedicate your CityPASS to other attractions).

Pike Place Market

The world-famous Pike Place Market is one of the oldest continuously operating farmers' markets in the U.S. It has many unique shops, stores, flower stands, and restaurants. Check out the first Starbucks store, have a snack at The Crumpet Shop, sample cheeses at Breecher's Handmade Cheeses, and stop for a marion berry and lemon curd greek yogurt at Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt.
