A 15-minute drive from Coconut Grove, The Frost Museum of Science is dedicated to sharing the power of science, sparking wonder and investigation, and fueling innovation for the future. Starting at 10am on Saturday morning, make your way to 3300 Grand Avenue for The Coconut Grove Organic Market, a neighborhood staple for decades and one of the area's best-kept secrets. There is a little something for everyone, specifically catering to the vegan, vegetarian, and organic crowd. Many different local food vendors offer unique and varied products, including nut-based, plant-based, dairy-free, and vegan options. There are other intriguing products and services at this farmers market, including antiques, jewelry, clothing, extra virgin olive oils and more!

The Commodore Trail is a paved cycling route that takes you through the heart of Coconut Grove.  From the Ritz, head North on Bayshore Drive for a 2.5 mile ride through Kennedy Park, past Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, to Alice Wainwright Park.  From there, cycling enthusiasts can hop on the 8-mile Rickenbacker Trail all the way to Key Biscayne. Most local hotels, including the Courtyard and the Ritz, have bicycles available for guests to use.

If you're looking to get out on the water, Dinner Key Marina in the heart of Coconut Grove is for you.  Miami Watersports offers a variety of on-the-water experiences including parasailing, Flyboarding, Hobie Cats, Jet Ski’s, tubing, kayaks, paddleboards, windsurfing, jetpacks and private charters.  You can play it safe and go tubing with friends and family, or try something new and fly through the air with their water-propelled jetpacks. Miami Watersports was the first company in South Florida to have the Flyboard available to customers. They are also the only company to rent Hobie Cats and offer windsurfing in Miami.

Through Milpa, they shine a spotlight on fresh, time-honored native ingredients like heirloom corn, cacao, chiles, and squash. Their homage continues with an in-house Molino where they cook and grind maiz daily to make tortillas from scratch, all in the living wisdom of Milpa to mesa, or farm to table.

Mister O1 was born from the idea that an extraordinary pizza requires the utmost attention to detail and the finest ingredients, the necessary tools for an artist to produce a masterpiece. Mister O1 uses only the finest and freshest ingredients and most of them are imported from Italy or locally sourced. The artisanal pizza is a delicate thin crust style with very light dough, which is prepared and rests for a minimum of 72 hours into natural levitation before being served.

What started as a push cart in Portland, Oregon is now one of the most popular ice cream chains in the country. Each location has a crafted menu that showcases the incredible farmers, chefs, and artisans of that city. The Coconut Grove location is a collaboration with the city’s most beloved cast of makers, creating a menu just for Miami, from Salt & Straw.

The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, previously known as Villa Vizcaya, is the former villa and estate of businessman James Deering, on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. The early 20th-century Vizcaya estate also includes extensive Italian Renaissance gardens, native woodland landscape, and a historic village outbuildings compound. The landscape and architecture were influenced by Veneto and Tuscan Italian Renaissance models and designed in the Mediterranean Revival architecture style, with Baroque elements. Vizcaya is an enduring, inclusive and innovative place that inspires people to embrace the cultural vitality and environmental sustainability of the world around us.

If you're looking for something fun to do outside of Coconut Grove, Wynwood is an eclectic district in the urban core of Miami, Florida.
