We have group seating reserved to cheer on the ponies! Meet at the Paddock Gate to collect your ticket and to get instructions on how to enter the Homestretch Club.
We plan to get to the track around 1:45, but stop by whenever to catch a race with us! Racing is from 12:45 to 5:30. You can catch the most exciting two minutes in sports, the Paul & Amanda Classic, at 2:45.
After racing, our families and wedding party will have a rehearsal dinner, and we welcome you back to Churchill Downs for the Welcome Party at 8:00pm!
Churchill Downs is usually an easy Uber from the downtown hotels and airport. The Bourbon & Beyond music festival and University of Louisville home football game on Friday night (go cards) will affect traffic to Churchill Downs.
The Paddock Gate is an entrance by the ticket office, past the one with Barbaro's statue and Kentucky Derby Museum. Gate 17 on Google Maps. L&M Events will be at a table with an umbrella to greet you at the Paddock Gate.
We're so happy and grateful you made it to Louisville! Let's kick off the weekend with our version of Downs After Dark at the most famous landmark in town. There will be cocktails, snacks, and good vibes in the Stakes Room at Churchill Downs.

Enter through the Paddock Gate and follow signs to the VIP elevator, which will take you to the Stakes Room.
Transportation will depart from the hotels at 4:00pm.
Our venue strongly prefers you not drive to the wedding so you can fully enjoy yourselves! We ask our local guests to please reach out to us if you need assistance in booking a car service. Shuttles will leave from the Hyatt Regency and Louisville Marriott Downtown at 4:00, if that is a convenient option for you.
Shuttles will return back to the hotel throughout the evening.
At the end of the reception, there will be a bus to the after party downtown and to the hotels.
Ashbourne Farms is thirty minutes outside of Louisville. It can take awhile for cabs and Ubers to pick up at Ashbourne.
