How We Met
One of my good friends told me he was going over to a family friends house to hang out and I should join him. When we got there his friend was at the top of the stairs and my heart skipped a beat. Pooja came downstairs and we immediately clicked, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen and I was already putty in her hands. For the next 1.5 years we went our separate ways and were able to rekindle our friendship when she FB messaged me, and the rest is history...
How We Met
Alark and I met the summer after high school through a mutual friend. He actually came to my house to hang out with his friend and we hit it off right away. I loved his charm and how outgoing and silly he was. We had fun teasing each other and making jokes. After that night we both went our separate ways to different colleges. We kept in touch here and there and we actually ran into each other again at my college garba night. We made some awkward conversation and again went our separate ways. A few years later I randomly messaged him to see what he was up to. He blew me off at first but eventually we started talking more. We went on one amazing date which led to almost 6 years of long distance between Chicago and Milwaukee and then Minnesota to California. We managed to continue dating through it all and well, the rest is history...now we will be getting married on our 8 year dating anniversary. Who would have thought that the way I would meet my soulmate would be when he came to my house and literally knocked on my front door. Truly serendipity. I cannot wait to finally be married to my best friend in 3 short months!
