Getting to Florence

With your application, they may ask you for proof of a booking. For this, if you are staying at Villa Pitiana, the hotel will provide visa letters to anyone staying at the hotel. You can request a visa letter from the hotel by sending them an email at booking@villapitiana.com. Please also provide them with the following information along with your booking so they can provide you a visa letter quickly.

Please fly into Peretola Airport (FLR) or Pisa Airport by Friday October 20th afternoon at the latest. From here please take a taxi to Villa Pitiana hotel. It should take around 50 minutes to reach the hotel.

For dinner: Golden View (Via de' Bardi, 54 across Ponte Vecchio) you can make an online reservation, it gets really busy..right on the arno river!
Great for Dinner: Il Santo Bevitore (Via di Santo Spirito, 64)

Tourism:
1. Scenic View from Fiesole - (the top of a hill that overlooks the city of florence, very cute restaurants and old italian ruins there)
2. Museums: Academia del' Arte (where the David is) & Ofcourse the Uffizi Museum
3. Duomo di Firenze (Cathedral of Florence)
4. Definitely walk the city! It's a small one, you could probably walk the whole city in an hour.
