Sangeet Night

A Sangeet is an evening filled with a variety of food stations, dance performances by friends and family and lots of fun music to dance the night away!

Baraat

In ancient times, the Groom and his family would travel from their village to the Bride's village to celebrate the wedding. The procession to the Bride's village is called a Baraat. They come dancing in full festivity and flair.

This Baraat will be different as Abha will also have her own procession with her family and friends (why should the groom's side have all the fun?). The 2 Baraats will begin from 2 different locations only to meet halfway and double the energy and dancing!

Hindu Wedding Ceremony

The Hindu Ceremony is almost 4,000 years old and contains ancient scriptures and rituals. These rituals are still practiced today. The wedding will be set with the mountains in the background in the presence of all their family and friends.  Here are some links to help understand the steps of the ceremony.
