Chad met Darin the day he moved to Washington DC in 2013. Seven years later, and they remain fast friends. Chad and Darin were roommates together in DC at a Christian men's house called the Jonathan House. They worked together for several years in the House of Representatives in DC. And to this day they are working through a reading list of the top reading lists of all-time books.
Fellow lovers of books and coffee, Darin and Chad have maintained a strong friendship through several trials in life (Darin will almost certainly bring up Chad's fight with the West Nile Virus) and the craziness of DC.
Chad is thankful for Darin's continued friendship. He and Dominique are excited that Darin is the Best Man and that he will be a part of their special day.
Evergreen native and Sam Elliott look-a-like, Steve Cyphers will be officiating Dominque and Chad's wedding.
Cyphers (his preferred call-sign) and Chad met at Colorado Christian University where he became Chad's college mentor. Cyphers taught Chad in outdoor leadership classes including white water rafting, orienteering, and wilderness first aid. He also taught Chad's freshman year introductory course on spiritual discipleship and leadership, covering the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Cyphers and his wife, Sandy, are Colorado natives, teachers, and outdoor enthusiasts. When Cyphers is not guiding river rafts or tying fly fishing knots, you may see him with a guitar in his hands leading worship groups, performing a rendition of a Paul McCartney or a Bob Dylan song, or playing cowboy.
A life-long friend, spiritual father-figure, and mentor, Chad and Dom are excited to have Cyphers performing this important role in their wedding.
