WINERIES

Paso Robles is a hidden gem of wineries.  There are more than 200 wineries for you to explore.  Here is just a short list of some our favorites:

Justin Winery, Paso Robles - We were introduced to Justin Winery from our good friends, India and Adam Blaylock. Great wine, great prices.  There is also a Justin tasting room located in downtown Paso Robles.

Sculptera, Paso Robles - We enjoyed this winery when we attended our sister Julie Enfantino’s 25 birthday celebrations. We even got the pleasure of hosting Will’s brothers, Nick and Pat Chong. When you get the chance you should ask them about this trip!

Eberle, Paso Robles- Pretty view, nice patio and also attended this winery in celebration of Julie Enfantino’s birthday.

Want to plan a day of wine tasting but not from the area.  Take advantage of these premade winery itineraries. pasorobleswineries.net/itineraries/

Shopping in Downtown San Luis Obispo
Downtown San Luis Obispo has so many cute shops, you could spend a whole day exploring and shopping.

San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden www.slobg.org/

Avila Beach, 15 minutes from San Luis Obispo
The beach has a wide, sandy shoreline (ideal for sunbathing) and a palm-fringed boardwalk lined with shops and restaurants featuring outdoor terraces. The relatively calm ocean environment is great for bodyboarding or learning to surf.

Avila Valley Hot Springs and Hiking Trails
With its 20- by 20-foot thermal soaking pool, the historic Avila Hot Springs caters to visitors seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. Bob Jones Bike Trail, a three-mile biking and hiking route that meanders alongside the San Louis Obispo Creek.

Shell Beach10 minutes from San Luis Obispo
Includes nine separate sandy beaches. Nature lovers come here to explore the tide pools, where they can see crabs and starfish, while kayakers appreciate the gentle waters. It's also a great place for spotting sea lions, dolphins, and migrating whales.

PISMO

Pismo Beach, Pismo
Pelicans, Monarch butterflies, seals, sea otters, and even whales are often spotted along the expansive coastline of Pismo Beach. Discover miles of sand and some of the best surfing!

Pismo Pier, Pismo
The 1,200-foot Pismo Beach Pier is the largest pier in San Luis Obispo County! Walk down its beautiful diamond-shaped platforms, enjoy breathtaking views of the coastline.

Pismo Beach San Dunes, Pismo
Oceano Dunes offers guests plenty of fun in Pismo Beach. In addition to ATV rentals (one of Will and I's personal favorite activity in Pismo), there are also other recreational activities - such as hiking, surfing, swimming, and dune buggy rides.  Other outdoor activities at Oceano Dunes are surfing, horseback riding, fishing, bird-watching, and even camping.

Monarch Butterfly Grove, Pismo
An enchanting part of California’s natural history is the Monarch Butterfly migration. Located off Highway 1 in Pismo Beach, you can find a beautiful grove of Eucalyptus Trees inhabited by these breathtaking butterflies. The best time to spot these delicate creatures is between January and February, but you might still see a few in July!

LOS OSO

Montana de Oro State Park, Los Oso
With its secluded beaches, rugged cliffs, and trails along streams, Montana de Oro State Park is a hiker's dream come true. The golden wildflowers that bloom in the spring give Montana del Oro its name, which means "Mountain of Gold."
