Due to the Conference of the Parties event, given how busy the city centre will be and the location of the Church, we recommend using the coaches, where possible.
The nearest train stations are Anderson (5 min walking distance) and Charing Cross (9 min walking distance).
If you are driving, it is advisable to check your journey in advance and plan where to park. We have listed a few potential options for you below, but would encourage you to call/book in advance to ensure availability.

As there are limited rooms available at the venue, we had to prioritise travelling guests and those with children. We hope you understand!
There will be a coach going back to Glasgow city centre at 1am and there are a few hotels, B&Bs and Airbnb properties nearby, if you'd like to enjoy Luss, Loch Lomond, Balloch or Dumbarton. Let us know if you need some help planning, but our advice is to avoid Glasgow city centre. The Conference of the Parties event has unfortunately increased prices in and around city centre.
**UPDATE AS OF 30/10/2021**
Please note that face coverings are expected to be worn (unless you’re exempt) in St Patrick’s for the ceremony. Thanks
**UPDATE AS OF 13/09/2021**
Despite being incredibly lucky to have been able to keep our date and not have the stress of rescheduling, unfortunately the "C" word is still lingering amongst us! As the Church and reception venue are in different council areas, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.... St Patrick's is open for communal mass, but at a reduced 50% capacity, meaning with the physical distancing rules in place, Fr Paul can only host 75 guests.
We therefore have to be prepared in case we have to make the difficult decision to reduce the number of guests able to join the ceremony.
Face coverings are expected/required to be worn inside (unless you are exempt).
Lodge on Loch Lomond can host our full capacity and we will confirm their policy in regards to face coverings and update you later this month.
We have all had to endure the crazy, ever changing rules and restrictions over the last year and a half. Please know that we wouldn't make the decision lightly and hope you would all understand if we do have to make a change. We would ensure that the video is shared with those who would like to watch our ceremony, if the worst case scenario becomes reality.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for being patient with the delay in getting invites to you.
Lots of love! x
