How to get here

Iași is located in the historical region of Moldova and traditionally has been one of the leading centres of Romanian social, cultural, academic and artistic life. The city has an international aeroport (www.aeroport-iasi.ro) which connects with the most important cities in Europe.

Flights

Iasi is well connected to other European cities. 

You have two main companies that have direct flights to Iasi: Blueair and WizzAir. Alternatively if you want to visit other cities too such as Bucharest, Cluj or Timisoara  can take a flight their and then take a flight to Iasi from there. 

 Vols 

Iasi est bien desservie en avion. Il existe deux compagnie qui assurent des vols directs depuis depuis des nombreuses villes d'Europe: Blueair et WizzAir. SI vous voulez visiter Bucharest, Cluj ou Timisoara ou d'autres villes également, il existe des vols vers ces destinations également et puis vous pouvez prendre un vol interne jusqu'à Iasi.

How should I travel around Iasi? 

We recommend taxis as it is easier to get from one place to another than with public transport. Uber is available. 

What is the local currency? 

In Romania you need Lei/ RON. You can find exchanges almost anywhere around the city. 1 EUR is aprox 4.7 RON. You can also take out money from ATMs.

Usually in Iasi in September there are around 20 degrees. But it can get chilly in the evenings so bring a blazer with you.
