You will need a Canadian travel Visa and if your connecting flights go via the US, you will require a US ESTA visa, even if you're not leaving the airport.

Things to Do Near Oceanstone

Peggy's Cove Village & Lighthhouse,

Located 5 minute drive from Oceanstone.

Nova Scotia is home to over 160 historic lighthouses and these majestic beacons can be found throughout the province. Some of our lighthouses are world famous! Peggy's Point Lighthouse is one of Nova Scotia’s most well-known lighthouses and may be the most photographed in Canada. Located in the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s Cove along the South Shore, Peggy’s Point Lighthouse was built in 1915.

Polly's Cove Hiking Trail

Polly’s Cove is situated 2km from the entrance to the world famous Peggy’s Cove, or just after West Dover on the left side of the road, if travelling from Halifax.  There are no signs – so be on the lookout for a dirt parking area large enough for a couple of cars.  From Polly’s Cove you have plenty of room to explore, while also getting a spectacular view of Peggy’s Cove, albeit on a clear day. The rugged beauty, and amazing views of the Nova Scotia coastline, make this one of our favourite hikes.
