Yinka and Cameron met in high school at Milford Mill Academy in 2012. The two were introduced through a mutual friend in their "Intro to Engineering" class. Months after being introduced to one another, Cameron asked their mutual friend for Yinka’s phone number. He texted her the evening he received her phone number, they got on a call and spoke until the next morning. They spoke about their passions and what motivated them. Their athletic drive is what created a spark in their relationship. They both aspired to be collegiate student-athletes. A few months later he asked her to be his girlfriend. Cameron fell in love with Yinka and told her he’d marry her someday. She laughed in disbelief. In the summer of 2013, Cameron moved to Atlanta, Georgia to enhance his athletic abilities. Despite the distance, they continued to date throughout the remaining of high school and college. After graduating college, he moved back to Baltimore and eventually proposed saying I told you I’d marry you someday.
