For those who don't know, we met on Bumble, an online dating app. After matching on the app, it took a while for us to have our first date, but one of us was luckily patient (Ankur). We stayed in touch, and one magical day, nearly a year later, we finally made it happen!
One thing we immediately connected on was our love for the New York Giants, phew! Can you imagine Sundays if one of us liked the Eagles?! or worse the Cowboys?!
Admittedly, the Giants have had some ups and downs, but our man DJ (“go DJ, that’s our DJ”) came through with a W at our first game together!
You know weddings are romantic occasions and sometimes lead couples to imagine what their wedding would be like. Thanks to groomsman (Karran) and his wife (Aditi), we attended our first wedding together. As you can see, we didn't miss the chance to get dressed up!
We both love to travel and went on our first trip together to Boston. We enjoyed exploring the city, going to a museum, and experiencing a sail boat tour in Salem.
We felt so blessed to have shared one full year of beautiful memories and experiences and we knew we had to do it in style. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of the top vegan restaurants in New York City.
Saranya’s perspective: I knew the day was approaching, but definitely didn’t anticipate it being that night. Ankur went above and beyond to make the moment he proposed so special and memorable for me. It was truly perfect and more than I could’ve ever imagined.
