We met 17 years ago at Sunday school. We never got close until 4 years ago where we started seeing each other more at Sri Lankan events. Crazy to think we grew up only 5 minutes from each other. In 2018, we finally went on our first date at the Anaheim Packing district. 3 months later on Sajana's birthday he asked Yuri to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history.
On December 18, 2020 Sajana proposed to Yuri at Big Bear during an annual family trip. The whole family took 3 off road Jeeps to the peak of the mountain, where he popped the question.
