Barcy Club Service
This is one of the main reasons why Nelson and I picked this resort. We thought of our guests traveling with kids. Not only is this resort highly rated for being family friendly - but also- provides free childcare at their Barcy Club- specifically open everyday from 8am to 12am- So the adults have this as an option to partake in night time adults only wedding events & other hotel activities.
The children will have fun with the activities supervised by qualified entertainers, with free pass to the Pirates Islands Water Park and use of the Barcy Card. The kids will be well cared for since the resort has a beeper locator. Guests will have full access to all of the Barcy Club benefits. It is an area designed especially for children with intense recreational programs to keep them entertained and have them enjoy a fantastic vacation. Children will receive the Barcy Card, which will allow them to collect points for each activity in which they engage. The accumulated points can then be redeemed for rewards at the Barcy Club.

1. What language(s) is/are spoken at the resort? Being located in the Dominican Republic, the obvious answer is Spanish. However, the reception team at Barceló Bávaro Palace will be delighted to assist you in the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. (I recommend downloading an English to Spanish translation app on your Smartphone prior to arrival and even further suggest you learn basic Spanish phrases like "Where is the bathroom?"). 2. Barceló Bávaro Palace Restaurant Policies: As a guest at the all-inclusive resort, you will have a guarantee of 4 à la carte dinners for each week of stay. Additional dinners are subject to availability (except Premium Level guests who enjoy unlimited dinners). Reservations must be made during the stay, à la carte reservations cannot be made prior to arrival (except Premium Level guests). 3. What are the restaurant dress codes at Barceló Bávaro Palace? In short, men need to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes to all restaurants. Women can wear nearly anything, with the exception of swimwear. 4. What are some things I have not thought to ask?
Bring lots of single-dollar bills to the resort with you for tips. Even in your resort hotel room, please be sure to lock up your valuables in the safe provided.
Photocopy every single piece of ID that you bring with you (including medical cards and credit cards) in case something gets lost or stolen. Pack your bug spray, insulated cups, snorkels, and waterproof cases. Please do not drink the tap water. This includes brushing your teeth with bottled water.
