Sossan and Nikos

Ios can be accessed directly from Athens Piraeus port via a ferry boat ride, approximately 4-6 hours long depending on the carrier. High speeds are the fastest, but be advised to take the slower large ferry if you have a sensitivity with motion sickness. Ios has no airport, however, Santorini is nearby and has an airport. Ferries from Santorini to Ios are one hour or less.

Santorini: less than an hour away by ferry, Santorini is known for its breathtaking caldera views. Very popular.

Mykonos: another well-known Cycladic island, more cosmopolitan. Known for night-life and beaches.

Paros: sometimes hailed as mini-Mykonos, Paros has beautiful beaches and a vibrant city center in Naoussa. Paros is short boat ride from Antiparos, another small and lovely island.

Naxos: a bit more relaxed than Paros, with excellent beaches.

Milos: known for its white rock and moon-like terrain, it's a unique island unlike any other. Milos is more quiet and romantic.

Koufounisia: incredible beaches, relaxing, and romantic.

Athens: don't forget Greece's capital city, worth seeing for a day or two. Climb the Acropolis and visit the Acropolis Museum, tour Plaka and Monistiraki, or venture down the coast to the Cape of Sounio.

The town of Ios is small and all hotels are walking distance to Ios Club where we will be hosting our wedding party.
