How We Met? Sonya and Willie have been close friends since 2009. Over the years, their friendship grew until one day, Willie asked Sonya on a date. He knew what he wanted at first sight.
Willie drove from Arkansas to hang out for the July 4th holiday weekend. He asked Sonya's three daughters (Tiffany, Amyia, and Kenecia) out for lunch. To their surprise, he actually was taking them ring shopping for their mom (Sonya). The girls were ecstatic and honored to be able to pick THE ring for their mother. The girls knew for a couple of days and were tasked with keeping this a secret until Willie found the perfect moment to pop the question. Willie found that moment, and proceeded to get down on one knee. He joked around and said "I am going to need a crane to get me back up, but here goes..." We laughed and he proceeded to ask, "Will you marry me?
Sonya, eagerly said "Yes" followed by Willie's remark "You are officially off the market!"
