Our story began in March of 2021. We were both living in Chicago and were lucky enough to cross paths. We met at Forbidden Root, and the rest is history! One date led to another and then another (though there almost wasn’t a third date because Roshni almost napped through our second date)! By the end of April 2021, we were “official.”

Our story began in March of 2021. We were both living in Chicago and were lucky enough to cross paths. We met at Forbidden Root, and the rest is history! One date led to another and then another (though there almost wasn’t a third date because Roshni almost napped through our second date)! By the end of April 2021, we were “official.”
Life has been great since then! We moved to Cincinnati where Roshni is in fellowship for gastroenterology and Atindra continues his work in sustainability. We’ve been welcomed into each other’s families. And, we adopted a dog, Watson, who now runs our lives.
Plans for the proposal were laid in Spring 2023, but Roshni, junior detective that she is, deduced Atindra’s plan. Atindra, clever man that he is, quickly engineered a new plan. He skillfully guided Roshni to a look-out point over downtown Cincinnati and dropped down on bended knee while Roshni was admiring the view. His proposal was beautiful and perfect, and everything Roshni wanted. Of course, she said yes!
We’ll be married after almost three and a half of years of togetherness, and we know that this is just the beginning of our story! We would not be the people that we are today without our friends and family, and we cannot wait to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with all of you!
