Our base will be the town of Montaione in the hart of the tuscan landscape. We advise you to fly in to Either Florence or Pisa airport. From there either take public transport or a rental car/taxi or a combination of the two to the village.

From the airport take tram T2 to the main train station (Firenze SMN), this will take 18 minutes and it is the 11th stop.
From the train stations take the regional train in the direction of Siena, this train leaves every 10 minutes past the hour. the ride will take 44 minutes and you have to get out at the 4th stop called Castelfiorentino.
In Castelfiorentino you can take a public bus (33, 34, 80) to Montaione this will take about 38 minutes

From Pisa airport make your way to the main train station via the People Mover that runs every 5 to 8 minutes.
From the train stations take any regional train in the direction of Florence, get of at the stop Empoli and change here for a train in the direction of Sienna or Chiusi-chianciano Terme. you have to get out at the stop called Castelfiorentino.
In Castelfiorentino you can take a public bus (33, 34, 80) to Montaione this will take about 38 minutes
