We were both invited by our friend Lakshmi to her wedding in September 2017 - Neil, having grown up with Lakshmi, and Rani, having done residency with her. We both received texts from Lakshmi, "so-and-so is single and cute, just FYI ;)"
According to Neil, because we were never seated at the same table, we weren't introduced to each other until Neil's brother-in-law, Hyaat, saw Rani. Hyaat started asking another mutual friend of theirs, Monica, about her biodata and as soon as he heard she was single, he immediately devised a plan to introduce Rani and Neil. They met each other and the rest is history :)
As to who actually introduced Rani and Neil, you'd have to ask Lakshmi and Hyaat ;) - the jury is still out on this one!
