Yes!! You HAVE to stay at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya. We want to spend this time with our family and friends. Not to mention, there is a daily entrance fee for those who are not staying at the resort.

Book when your budget allows, but you must place a $100/person deposit by the end of February. Also, please be aware the full payment is due in July. We would hate for anyone to put off making payments until July and then not be able to join us on this amazing trip!
Our travel agent, Felecia has worked tirelessly to provide our guests with the lowest rates possible, so we kindly ask you book through your rooms through her. Please direct yourself to the 'Travel' section for information on the resort.
You are more than welcome to book your own flights to Cancun or Felecia would be happy to book them for you. If you would like Felecia to book all your travel accommodations, please refer to the 'Travel' section and find the tab for 'Flight Info'.

We kindly ask you arrive by Thursday August 6th, the day before our wedding, to be apart of our welcome party. Feel free to stay as as long as you'd like, but keep in mind there is a 3-night minimum. We understand some of you will have to get back to work, but we would love if you stayed and experienced the culture of Mexico with us!
Rachel, Gabe and many others will be at the resort as early as August 5 and departing August 12 . We plan on taking advantage of the extra days to sight-see, go on excursions, and relax by the pool.

Yes, you may bring your children. We originally planned for a CHILD-FREE wedding, but we understand this is a vacation and we do not expect you to leave your children at home. If your child causes disruptions during the ceremony and reception, we kindly ask that you temporarily remove yourself and your child until they are calm again.
A note from Rachel: I say this as nicely as I can... please don't let your child ruin our special day. I will stop mid-vow and ask you to leave LOL ♥

While we don't expect you to put on your black-tie attire, please come well-dressed and nicely groomed. Sundresses, dress/linen pants, and short sleeve button-ups are all acceptable. Don't be afraid to dress up if you find a killer dress/suit!
Please refrain from wearing jeans, casual shorts, bathing suits, beach cover-ups, and other items of that nature.

Unless approved by Rachel or Gabe, NO, you may not bring a guest to the ceremony or reception. Feel free to bring a guest with you on vacation (rooms are cheaper with two people in them), just understand we have to limit our guest count and our highest priority is sharing this day with our closest family and friends.

Yes! You absolutely NEED a passport to go to Mexico.
If you do not own a passport, we recommend starting the process as soon as possible. A passport usually takes 8 weeks to process, but you never know what could happen. Better to be safe than sorry!**For those of you who already have a passport, please remember your passport MUST be valid for 6 months AFTER returning home from Mexico to be valid!

NO! Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. Before and after is perfectly fine, but we want you to be present at our wedding, not watching through your phone. PLEASE let the photographer do their job. We'll be more than happy to share any photos they capture after the wedding.

You never need to tip, but everyone likes to be rewarded for a job well done!
So feel free to show appreciation for those who provide an exceptional level of service to make your vacation and our celebration fabulous

Yes! American dollars are welcome in Mexico and are encouraged when tipping.

We do not know how every guest’s phone will work in Mexico. Some carriers, like Mexico, may have you add an international plan. To our knowledge, T-Mobile and Sprint do not charge for phone or data usage in Mexico. Please don't take our word for this! Call your carrier and find out to be safe.

Are you worried about going to Vegas or Orlando? School or the Waffle House? Then you shouldn't be worried about going to Mexico.
Hard Rock RM is a gated resort. They require check-ins with the name on reservation by a security guard that mans the gate. An all-inclusive resort, with people who are paid to wait on you, should not have you worried.
