Venue, reservations, etc.
We chose Hotel Le Fontanelle as our venue because, from the moment we arrived, we could imagine ourselves surrounded by family and friends celebrating our wedding. With stunning views, beautiful gardens and a relaxing atmosphere we felt this location encouraged us to live in the moment. We hope you will relax and unwind during your stay with us at Hotel le Fontanelle.
The entirety of the hotel and the facilities such as pools, spa, bar, etc. will be for the exclusive use of our wedding guests for two days and two nights. Check-in begins Friday 19th (after 3pm) and check-out is on Sunday 21st (12pm). For those arriving on early flights please let us know and we will try to arrange an earlier check-in time for you.
As our exclusivity ends on Sunday morning and the farewell event is not in Hotel Le Fontanelle, you may wish to stay in another hotel nearby or explore Tuscany further. If you would like a list of recommended hotels or villas nearby, in Siena or in Tuscany please let us know.
All reservations for Friday and Saturday can be made with us directly and not with the hotel. As we have booked the entire list of rooms for the wedding, the hotel will show as unavailable for those dates.
We have two types of rooms available for reservation - suites and double rooms. The suites are €300 per night and the double rooms are €225 per night. Room reservations can be completed below by emailing paulcolettewedding@gmail.com and we will send you a link for payment. Due to a venue deadline we ask that all guests have paid for their rooms by 31st March.
As we do not have exclusivity on Sunday, if you would like to stay in the hotel on that night you can book with them directly. They are offering a discounted rate for guests if you quote that you are attending our wedding.

Hotel Le Fontanelle enjoys panoramic views from its location in the Chianti Hills, 20 minutes drive from Siena. The main building dates back to the 13th century, part of an old country estate. The ancient farmhouse and buildings were in ruin when the current owners purchased it in the 1990s but through a huge restoration project it was brought back to life.
The owner focused on keeping the historical and cultural identity. This is why the hotel is full of archways, stone walls, original wood ceiling beams and terracotta floors - all the elements of a classic Chianti farm dwelling. The surrounding gardens are no different from that of 200 years ago, marked with vineyards and olive trees, native vegetation, and aromatic herbs. The name 'Le Fontanelle' comes from a 19th century source of water and the stone structures used to collect it, which can be seen around the property.
