It is hard for us to believe that our parents brought us together!
In retrospect, our journey together had already begun the day we became friends. It was a simple start of two polar opposite individuals. Our shared passion for dentistry sparked a friendship, and over time we realized we had more in common than just dentistry. We are a blend of two very different and distinct personality that some how compliment each other and together we form a perfectly imperfect couple.
Now, what can we say about our first date!
It will surely be memorable for at least this lifetime. Of course, it was a perfect first date of two of our all time favorite things, ice cream and movies. I am sure you can guess who is the ice cream lover and who is the movie buff. We shared cups of ice creams while conversing about everything under the sun. However, enjoying silence while watching a horror movie with Palak was out of the question. Of course, the movie was Pratik's choice and he thoroughly enjoyed laughing at all of Palak's antics.

Lights, Lights, Lights...Magic!
The proposal and everything leading up to was absolutely spontaneous based on an image Pratik saw on Reddit. Between the deciding where he wants to propose and him getting down one knee is a journey in its own.
We were at Christmas light tour at Lake Lanier and in the middle of it he bend down to "tie his shoe lace" and truly surprised me. He is not keen on PDA but going out of his way and jumped through so many hoops to plan such a beautiful gesture made it that much more special. The lights, the love and OMG the ring!! He picked it out himself and I bet you will not be able to take your eyes off of it.
