It began as coworkers at The MITRE Corp, almost exactly 6 years before #NavyigateToAlex.

Alex, the project lead, reached out to Navya for a data engineer. Navya, the social chair, reached back looking for drinking buddies.

Another three years passed before we finally made it to our first date in Georgetown.

Our families met and spent the holiday season together.
Thanksgiving was hosted at the Ethier's. Christmas was at the Kambalapally’s.

Alex wanted to propose but initially wasn’t sure what to do.

After getting a ring, ordering 20,000 rose petals, and renting a castle, he popped the question and Navya said ‘Yes!!’.

We partied into the night with 30 of our close friends and family.
