I knew it! I definitely felt something was "in the air" when Bryan and I met Amy for the first time at a Warrior game. Soon after, he started bringing Amy to our casual hangouts and KTV nights when I was in town, and they finally became official after a few wild nights in the desert oasis.
Bryan and I had met in college and we were college roommates at UCSD. We instantly became the best of friends after sharing almost every interest except the gaming world. We were always together in the near-decade I've known Bryan, from basketball/tennis and late-night study sessions to exploring San Diego and growing up together as 18-year-olds.
I'm so glad you've found Amy, she is just the perfect gal for you. She's your new tennis buddy and your new adventure-mate. She'll perfectly go along with anything you have planned to do and take care of you!.
I just want to say; I am excited to be a part of you two's most special day. Let's party it up! Vegas-style, if you know what I mean.
We met at the beginning of junior year at The Athenian School when I moved to the U.S. for high school and soon became good buddies for each other. We were not only classmates but dormmates who lived and literally shared every moment together for 2 years. Maybe some ups and downs, but as I look back, there are only memories full of joy and fun with Bryan from working on projects & playing basketball afterschool to going out for late-night munches & all the weekend hangouts. We even SKYDIVED together as a graduation gift to ourselves, which we tried to but failed to keep secret to teachers.
We had to take different paths after high school as I went back to Japan for university, but I do believe that our friendships have remained unchanged and strong despite the distance between us. I am really happy for you starting a new chapter of life and can’t wait to celebrate for you and Amy. Looking forward to your wedding day and also our future reunions.
If you have ever spent time around Bryan and me, you’d think that we have known each other since we were kids. Truth is, I first met him in my freshman year of college. In just a few years, he became my buddy, my family, and my best friend to say the least.
I can go on and on about the stories we have had together, including the night when Bryan and Amy first met, but I have to keep it short here. All I can say is, it was really fun to witness them try their hardest to hide their feelings towards one another… until alcohol kicked in.
