Miso and Mike met on a company Christmas party in 2019. Miso was visiting San Francisco and tagged along with her friend to the party. Mike and Miso kicked off the evening taking jabs at each other- Miso wondering why Mike decided to bring sunglasses at a evening party and Mike making fun of Miso's motion sickness whilst on a boat. The evening went by very quickly and ended with a trip to a pizza shop and misjudging a clam garlic pizza as blasphemous.
It wasn't until Miso came to San Francisco a second time where the two went out for brunch and continued their banter. Upon landing back in Washington, DC Mike had left a message to ask Miso out on a date next time she is in town. Unfortunately, the pandemic began but the two took the chance to continue to explore where this new relationship would go!
Fast forward to a few trips to Ireland, 730 facetimes later, and a trip to the US Miso and Mike are ready to get married on September 2, 2022. If the pandemic taught them anything it's to take the chances and enjoy every moment with each other and they plan to do just that!
