Lake Louise: is a hamlet in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, known for its turquoise, glacier-fed lake ringed by high peaks and overlooked by a stately chateau.
Barrier Lake: This glacial-fed lake is a wonderful spot to use a kayak/canoe that you bring or rent on site. It is also a beautiful spot to picnic with a family and go on hikes (trail to climb the overlooking mountain).
Takakkaw Falls: Not much of a hiker but want to see some waterfalls? This is for you! The Takakkaw Falls has a drop of 833 ft -- making it one of the highest waterfalls in Canada. The falls are spectacular in the summer when melting snow and ice provide ample runoff.

Bowness and Baker Park: Beautiful river, fresh air, and a clean park. You can not find a better park in Calgary than Bowness Park to spend a day alone or with your family.
Prairie Winds Park: Scenic trails, wetlands, prairie meadows, and an urban forest offer a diverse nature experience. A very popular park for all ages.
Stephen Avenue Walk: Calgary's only pedestrian mall, Stephen Avenue features a year-round pedestrian experience featuring shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Chinook Centre: is Calgary's largest shopping, dining, and entertainment destination with over 250 stores. Major department stores like Hudson's Bay, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue, make it easy to spend the day at CF Chinook Centre.
