Nestled at an elevation of 4,118 ft on a plateau in the Nantahala National Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western NC, Highlands offers a chance to unwind and relax. There is quite literally something for everyone here from hiking trails and waterfalls to golf, tennis, and watersports to fine dining and shopping to music, art galleries and more.
Getting There
To get to Highlands, NC, you have the option of flying into four different airports. From Atlanta, Highlands is a scenic 2.5 hour drive.

Where is the ceremony & reception? Both the ceremony and reception are at the Farm, which is located 2.5 miles from the Old Edwards Inn on Main St. We will have a shuttle to transport guests from the Inn to the Farm throughout the night.
What is the dress code? Black tie optional. Groomsmen will be wearing tuxes and bridesmaids will be in long dresses. Please wear what you feel comfortable in!
What's the weather like in Highlands during that time of year? Highlands has a crisp fall, with temperatures typically in the 50's and 60's.
Are kids invited? While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event.
Can I bring a plus one? Unfortunately, we can only accommodate who the invite is addressed to.
