Laureise and Jeremy met in Whistler Canada in February of 2017. Laureise and Jeremy met in Whistler Canada in February of 2017. After forming a connection in Whistler, the two went on their first date the following week in Seattle where they both attended the University of Washington. Jeremy and Laureise’s relationship continued to grow throughout the coming years. Whether going on hiking adventures, making memories with friends, or simply enjoying quality time together, the two were inseparable. During the summer of 2018, Laureise and Jeremy decided to move to Berkeley California together, knowing that neither a long distance relationship nor being apart was an option for them.
Since moving to California, Laureise and Jeremy have continued their adventures, whether going backpacking in places like Yosemite and Patagonia, or eating and drinking their way through places like Spain and Portugal. Once Jeremy finished graduate school at Berkeley, the two moved to San Francisco for several years. While in the city, Laureise and Jeremy had their first child, Teddy the dog. Due to the fact that Teddy needed space to bark at the amazon delivery man, Laureise and Jeremy bought their first home in the Oakland hills in the end of 2022. During August of 2023, knowing that Laureise was the love of his life, Jeremy planned a not so subtle proposal in Half Moon Bay. While this is just the beginning of Laureise and Jeremy’s story, they cannot think of any better way to celebrate their relationship than to spend it with everyone they love.
