We will have family and the wedding party staying with us at the villa itself, but we unfortunately do not have room for everybody!

Please see the "Travel" tab for more information on accommodations.

Villa Check-In

Check-in at the villa will be available starting at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 28th; feel free to arrive any time after this throughout the week.

As a reminder, there is a minimum 2-night stay if you are staying with us at the villa!

Pizza and Prosecco

For guests arriving over the weekend, please join us at the villa for a welcome party with pizza and prosecco!

Wine tasting at the villa for those who opted in.

Price per person will be €48

Wines sampled:
• Sara - Spumante igt - “Villa Baroncino” (sparkling white wine)
• Villa Antinori Bianco - Toscana igt – “Marchesi Antinori” (white wine)
• Scalabrone - Bolgheri rosato doc – “Marchesi Antinori” (rosè wine)
• Pèppoli - Chianti Classico docg - “Marchesi Antinori” (red wine)
• Podere Madama - Rosso igt - “Villa Baroncino” (red riserva wine)

The wine tasting includes local appetizers as well!

Pasta Party

Sampling of three different pastas followed by dessert:

Pasta #1:
- Trofie pasta with courgettes and speck.
(Trofie, short twisted home made pasta)
Pasta #2:
- Penne Alla Norcina
(Norcina, creamy sauce & sausages)
Pasta #3:
- Orecchiette with pesto, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
(Orecchiette, small dome shaped pasta)

Dessert: Tiramisù

Trip to Florence

We will be taking a group trip to Florence for the day to sight-see. We are renting a bus that will take us from the villa to a central train station in Florence.

Cost is €30/person.

Schedule

- 10:00am: Bus leaves Villa Baroncino
- 11:30am: Bus drops off at Villa Costanza Train Station
- 11:30am - 5:30pm: Free time in Florence
- 5:30 pm:Bus leaves from Villa Costanza Train Station
- 7:00pm: Bus arrives back at Villa Baroncino

Dinner will be prepared at the villa at 7:30PM for those who opted in!

• Appetizers - Tuscan croutes, croutes with mushrooms, spicy croutes, bruschetta and cold cuts, savory tarts, cheese selection
• Pasta course (both pasta dishes will be served) - Tagliatelle with meat sauce, smoked penne
• Main course - Beef tagliata with arugula, side salad

Dinner by the lake

Rehearsal Dinner with drinks included (prosecco, wine, and limoncello) at a restaurant located by the shore of the lake.

• House appetizer - Caprese (buffalo mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and basil salad), toasted seasoned bread with tomatoes, olive oil and basil, mixed fried, ham and melon and Pecorino di Pienza
• First Courses - Lasagna, Ricotta and spinach ravioli with Pienza pecorino cheese and Parmigiano Reggiano Flakes
• Main Course - Sliced beef with pepper and rosemary with roasted potatoes

Transportation

Transportation will be provided from the villa to the restaurant and back.

Garden Ceremony

The wedding ceremony will be held in the garden at Villa Baroncino.

Reception

The reception will be hosted at Villa Baroncino.

Reception meal includes five courses and cake. Please specify any dietary needs on your RSVP.

There will be an open bar.

TRANSPORT

Taxi services will be available to wedding guests not staying at the villa for transport back to their accommodations after the reception.

This will be arranged in the afternoon on the day of the wedding.

Traditional Italian Hog Roast

Join us on our last full day at the villa for a hog roast!

Hog roast is a traditional meal of central Italy, with preparation consisting of barbecuing a whole hog that is afterwards spiced with salt, pepper, aromatic herbs, fennel, garlic, rosemary, and wine.

The roast will be served in slices as a main dish or as sandwiches. Per Italian tradition, it is regularly served with bread, but there will also be vegetables/salads/sauces to accompany the meal.

BBQ

In addition to the hog roast we will have other food available at the barbecue - meat, vegetables, salad, and dessert.

The villa is rented for our exclusive use September 28th - October 5th.

Please make plans to depart by Saturday, October 5th.

Checkout is by 10:00 AM.
