The first trip that Lauren and Kevin took together as a couple was July 4th weekend, 2016, on Shelter Island. That weekend they took a yoga class with Jessy Nees, and yoga has become a thing they do together when they travel, eveywhere from Asheville, North Carolina to Holbox, Mexico.
They have asked Jessy to kick off the day's festivities with a private yoga class for their wedding guests. They will also totally understand if the entire wedding party is still asleep.
We invite you to stop by our taco truck for some lunch and a dip in the Long Island Sound. Bring your taco ticket and beach blanket, or pick up a taco to go and explore the island.
For those driving, please use the Sunset Beach parking lot.
In the event of rain, the taco truck will be parked behid the Chequit Hotel.
Transportation to the wedding will be provided from The Chequit Hotel, The Shelter Island House and the West Neck Guest House at the following times:
3:00 PM Departing from The Shelter Island House
3:15 PM Departing from West Neck Guest House
3:30 PM Departing from The Chequit Hotel
Please note: There is no Uber or Lyft on the island, and very few taxis. In addition to the shuttle, we have hired a driver to provide transportation on the island for our wedding guests, should you need it. Eric Koszalka: 631.379.6020.
